Marion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard is my new favorite actress. She got famous from her Oscar winning film La Vie en rose, and you also may recognize her from the wonderful film Nine. I'm so excited to read the July Vogue with her in it, i am absolutely in love with the photo shoot they did of her, I wish i was her. This is exactly what Hollywood needs to go back to, all fake people are sickening, we need some classy, beautiful, natural, non anorexic women like Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe, and of course Marion Cotillard. Watch the video above to see more photos, and an interview with Marion Cotillard. I love her French accent!

Things That Inspire Me

THINGS THAT INSPIRE ME:

Jesus Christ: I'm not trying to sound cheesy, but He really is amazing and I don't know how I'd get through life without Him. "I can do all things through Christ."- Philippians 4:13

Roman Holiday: This is my favorite movie of all time. I love the whole story of it, and it just makes me happy no matter what mood i am in. :)

Alfa Romeo from 1960: I don't know why, but I have dreams about this car, it's beautiful. I wish they still made them, they have so much character.

Coconut cupcakes: Extremely delicious, especially the ones from "Trophy Cupcakes"

Old fashion romance: Theres something about the romance back then that is so...passionate, but a different level of passionate then most of the types of romance in today's world if you know what i mean. I don't know how describe it, maybe i'm dreaming or maybe i've watched way too many old romance movies, but whatever that is, I really want it, something classy yet so deeply passionate. Most people say my expectations are too high, but i want respect and someone who i'm in love with, and i mean really, really in love with and they feel the same way towards me.

Music: Well of course old music..Dino, Sinatra, Billie Holiday, all those good people...(If you didn't notice already, i'm kind of a old fashion junkie), but at the moment, "Sugar Mouse by Oh, Atoms", really inspires me. I just love that song. It's so cute. It's on my playlist below if you'd like to hear it. :) Oh, and the lovely, She & Him, best band ever, so glad we have some people like them to sing.

Family: I almost forgot. ;) They always push me to do my best and they support me with my dreams and encourage me to follow them. Another thing i love about them, is that they make amazing food, we RARELY eat out, their always making homemade, good food and i'm very thankful for that, i need to learn how to cook.

My Favorite Classic Red Lipstick

I love red lip stick, it may have been popular in the early 1900's but it's timeless and i don't think it will ever go out of style. It's a sexy, classy, and romantic look. And of course Marilyn Monroe wore it beautifully.

Expensive Taste: Chanel

There are absolutely no words that can describe how utterly beautiful Chanel's dresses are. I am in love with the whole Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, if only i could afford them, they are WAY out of my price range. Maybe someday...I'll be lucky enough to wear one, i love dreaming, you know?

Top Twelve Places I Want To Go

My family gives me such a hard time for wanting to live in Europe and travel there, but seriously, it's beautiful. The Castles, the history, the little fairytale towns in France, the food, everything! These town/places are the top 12 that i'd love to visit(In no specific order):

1. Isle Sur la Sorgue, France: The buildings give me butterflies, they're so adorable. It seems like a lovely place to visit.

2. Colmar, France: This is located in my favorite region of France, Alsace. It kind of has a fairytale vibe to it, once again, i'm in love with the architecture of the town.

3. Paris, France: It's Paris! Of course i've got to visit here! Chanel boutique, yummy pastries, the Eiffel Tower and more! After watching "Paris When It Sizzles" it's definitely a must see city.

4. Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany: This castle is beautiful. This is where Beauty and The Beast got their inspiration. I just want to slip right into a big princess gown after looking at the pictures of this place! It's a real life fairytale castle.

5. Florence, Italy: The Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence is pretty much the reason why i want to go there and of course because of the art and museums too.

6. Gulf Of Poets, Italy: It has a romantic vibe, and it's not too invaded with a ton of tourists, It's very peaceful and I could totally see myself living here.

7. Pompeii, Italy: This town is an ancient historic town in southern Italy. Pompeii was destroyed by an eruption of Mount Vesuvius in a.d. 79, but they soon rediscovered the town in the 1700's, the people got "frozen" by the ash, and you can still go see them! It's pretty awesome!

8. Rome, Italy: It's Rome, of course i want to go here.

9. Verona, Italy: Well, I admit, i just want to go here because of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. I am definitely a hopeless romantic, and who knows, maybe i'll find my "Romeo" there! (haha) And i'm also in love with the theater and plays they have there, so i know i'd enjoy that. It's also located right by a beautiful river, so who wouldn't love this italian town?

10. Zurich, Switzerland: This town just has beautiful scenic views and the buildings are so well designed.
Vienna, Austria: I'd love to learn about the cultural and history of this beautiful town, another place with breath taking buildings.

11. Amsterdam, The Netherlands: This town as some beautiful parks and museums i'd love to visit and the nightlife is amazing.

12. The Plitvice Lakes, Croatia: BREATH TAKING. That's all i got to say about this place, it's a dream.

Costume Design 101 by Richard La Motte

Costume Design 101 is the best book i have ever read on costume designing. It has helped me so much. In the past weeks, i've been reading it for hours at a time, high lighting important stuff and organizing things that i need to do. Richard La Motte, gives you important information from getting started in the business to script breakdown and meetings for the film your working on. It's an extremely hard business to get into but if your passionate about it, i'd take a look at this book because its helping me and i know it will help me in the future also. I get so excited when I read it! Apparently this book is for a college class, I'm in high school, but i got it anyways, you can order it on borders.com!

New Music: Marina & The Diamonds

Marina & The Diamonds is actually one of the few pop based artist that i like. I found about about her from reading in Vogue, and so i looked her up and i loved her music! Her music video is showed above, it's so different, but i love it and she's beautiful in it! The song is very catchy. Vogue said that Marina and the Diamonds is super popular in the U.K. but her dream is to get just as popular in America.

Summer Lovin'

Summer is basically here! I'm so excited to relax and be stress free, and just be able to go down to the beach and enjoy myself in the sun while reading some Jane Austen, drinking my lemonade, getting a tan, and of course wearing an adorable swimsuit! I thought that Anthropoligie's swimsuits are just adorable! I think the floral one is really pretty and girly but yet the the striped one w/ the red is sweet and sexy. I'm thinking of buying one, there's even more on their website, they are all very old fashion and that's why i love them. I'm also in love with J.Crew's too! Check out their websites:

I am so in love with Zoe Saldana's dress. It's so classy and elegant, i just want to put it on and walk around Paris!
